Manage analytics choices
Updated 2026-07-22
What this does
You choose whether Euphyr can use product analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings to improve the service. Analytics stay off until you allow them, and form entries are masked in recordings.
How to do it
The "Analytics choices" notice appears when Euphyr first asks for analytics permission in a browser.
- Click "Allow analytics" to enable product analytics, heatmaps, performance measurements, browser error reports, and session recordings.
- Click "Decline" to keep analytics disabled.
- To change your choice later, click "Analytics choices" in the website footer or your account menu.
- Click "Keep enabled", "Allow analytics", "Keep disabled", or "Decline" to save the choice shown.
Common questions
What can a session recording contain?
A session recording can contain the page layout, visible page content, pointer movement, scrolling, and clicks. Text entered into form fields is masked. Euphyr also excludes network request bodies, network headers, and URL query strings from recordings.
Does declining analytics limit my account?
No. Declining analytics does not disable any Euphyr feature. It only stops product analytics, heatmaps, performance measurements, browser error reports, and session recordings from being sent from that browser.
Can I delete analytics already collected?
Yes. Email support@euphyr.com to request access to or deletion of analytics associated with your account. Changing "Analytics choices" stops future collection from that browser but does not automatically delete earlier information.
When it doesn't work
- The "Analytics choices" notice appears again — Your browser cookies may have been cleared, you may be using private browsing, or you may be on a different device. Choose your preference again.
- "Analytics choices" does not open — Refresh Euphyr and try the link again. If it still does not open, email support@euphyr.com.
- You allowed analytics but want to stop it — Open "Analytics choices" from the website footer or your account menu, then click "Decline".
