Search a domain across your workspaces

What this does

Search lets you type a domain name and instantly see everywhere it shows up in Euphyr: your portfolio, your watchlist, the dropping list, and the domains available now. It saves you from checking each page one by one when you want to know where a name already lives.

How to do it

1. Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from any page. You can also press /, or click the search icon in the top bar.
2. Start typing a domain name. You can type just part of it, like flow, or the full name, like flow.com.
3. Results appear grouped under "Portfolio", "Watchlist", "Dropping", and "Available". Only the groups with matches are shown.
4. Use the arrow keys to move between results and press Enter, or click a result.
5. Portfolio and watchlist results open that domain's detail page. Dropping and available results open the matching list, already searched for that name.

Common questions

Do I have to type the full domain?

No. Two or more characters is enough, and it matches anywhere in the name. Typing flow finds flow.com, flowstate.io, and getflow.com. You can paste a full address like https://flow.com too — only the name is used.

What do the four groups mean?

"Portfolio" is domains you own and have verified. "Watchlist" is domains you track but do not own. "Dropping" is expiring domains on the dropping list. "Available" is recently dropped domains that no one has registered yet. A single name can appear in more than one group.

Why does a domain I expected not show up under "Dropping" or "Available"?

Those two groups only show names that are actually on the "Dropping" and "Available now" pages right now. A name that has already been registered, or that hasn't finished loading its details yet, won't appear there even if it exists elsewhere.

When it doesn't work

• "No domains found" — Check the spelling, and remember search only looks at names in your portfolio, your watchlist, the dropping list, and available now. A name you have never added or that isn't dropping won't be found.
• "Type at least 2 characters" — Search starts after the second character. Keep typing.
• "Too many attempts. Try again in a minute." — You've searched very rapidly in a short window. Wait a minute and try again.
• "Couldn't search right now. Try again." — Search hit a temporary problem. Wait a moment and type again; if it keeps happening, refresh the page.
