Sync your GoDaddy portfolio into Euphyr
Updated 2026-07-25
What this does
Pulls every domain in your GoDaddy account into Euphyr. New domains land in your portfolio as verified, watchlist domains you also own at GoDaddy get verified automatically, and any portfolio domain whose registrar changed has its "Synced from" label updated. Syncing also records each domain's current nameservers, which then show on the domain's "Manage" tab. You stay in control of when this runs — sync only fires when you click the button.
How to do it
- Open
Settingsfrom the left sidebar. - Open the
Integrationstab. - Connect GoDaddy if you haven't already: click
Connect, paste your GoDaddy API key and secret, and clickSave. Use a Production key from a GoDaddy account that owns domains — a test key won't return your portfolio. - On the GoDaddy tile, click
Sync portfolio. - Wait a few seconds. You'll see a confirmation with how many domains were added.
When the sync finishes, open Portfolio to see your domains. New rows are marked with a GoDaddy badge on the card and a Synced from: GoDaddy row inside each domain's detail page.
Common questions
How often can I sync?
You can sync once per minute. If you click Sync portfolio again right away, you'll see "Too many actions. Slow down and try again in a minute." Wait sixty seconds and try again. This protects you from accidental double-clicks that would each re-scan your whole account.
What happens to domains already on my watchlist?
If a domain on your watchlist also shows up in your GoDaddy account, the sync verifies it automatically and moves it into your portfolio. You don't need to add a DNS TXT record to prove ownership when sync confirms it. The "Verified" label on the domain shows it was verified through GoDaddy rather than DNS.
What happens to domains already in my portfolio?
Sync skips them unless their registrar changed. If a portfolio domain was previously labeled Synced from: Spaceship and now lives at GoDaddy, sync flips the label to Synced from: GoDaddy. Any prices, notes, or "Verified" status you already had are kept exactly as they were.
Does sync analyze the new domains automatically?
Yes. Every new domain sync adds to your portfolio also kicks off the full Euphyr analysis — valuation, similar sales, trademark check, Wayback history, and so on. You'll see the results populate over the next two to three minutes per domain.
Can I edit nameservers for my GoDaddy domains here?
Sync records the nameservers GoDaddy reports so they show on each domain's "Manage" tab, but editing nameservers inside Euphyr is available for Spaceship-registered domains only right now. For a GoDaddy domain, change its nameservers from your GoDaddy dashboard; the new values appear in Euphyr the next time you sync.
What if I have a very large GoDaddy account?
Large GoDaddy accounts sync in stages until every page has been processed. Existing domains are never duplicated.
When it doesn't work
- "Too many actions. Slow down and try again in a minute." — You synced within the last minute. Wait sixty seconds and click
Sync portfolioagain. - "Connect GoDaddy first in Settings → Integrations." — Your GoDaddy connection is missing. Click
Connecton the GoDaddy tile, paste your API key and secret, then trySync portfolioagain. - "That GoDaddy key isn't allowed to read domains." — The key you connected is a test key, or it's on a GoDaddy account with no domains. Create a Production key on the GoDaddy account that owns your domains, then
DisconnectandConnectagain with it. - "GoDaddy rejected those credentials." — Your saved API key or secret is no longer valid (you regenerated it, it expired, or it was revoked). Click
Disconnecton the GoDaddy tile, thenConnectagain with a fresh key and secret. - "GoDaddy rate limit hit. Try again in a minute." — GoDaddy temporarily blocked the read. Wait one minute and click
Sync portfolioagain. - "Couldn't reach GoDaddy." — GoDaddy was unreachable or slow. Check your internet connection and try
Sync portfolioagain in a few seconds. - "GoDaddy: portfolio already up to date" — Either every GoDaddy domain is already in your portfolio and tagged
Synced from: GoDaddy, or your GoDaddy account has no domains. Open your GoDaddy dashboard to confirm what's there.
