Sync your Spaceship portfolio into Euphyr

Updated 2026-07-25

What this does

Pulls every domain in your Spaceship account into Euphyr. New domains land in your portfolio as verified, watchlist domains you also own at Spaceship get verified automatically, and any portfolio domain whose registrar changed has its "Synced from" label updated. Syncing also records each domain's current nameservers, which then show on the domain's "Manage" tab. You stay in control of when this runs — sync only fires when you click the button.

How to do it

  1. Open Settings from the left sidebar.
  2. Open the Integrations tab.
  3. Connect Spaceship if you haven't already: click Connect, paste your Spaceship API key and secret, and click Save.
  4. On the Spaceship tile, click Sync.
  5. Wait a few seconds. You'll see a confirmation with how many domains were added, promoted from your watchlist, or had their registrar updated.

When the sync finishes, open Portfolio to see your domains. New rows are marked with a Spaceship badge on the card and a Synced from: Spaceship row inside each domain's detail page.

Common questions

How often can I sync?

You can sync once per minute. If you click Sync twice in quick succession, the second click returns "Sync was just run. Wait a minute and try again." This protects you against accidental double-clicks that would each fire the full domain analysis pipeline for any newly-discovered domains.

What happens to domains already on my watchlist?

If a domain on your watchlist also shows up in your Spaceship account, the sync verifies it automatically and moves it into your portfolio. You don't need to add a DNS TXT record to prove ownership when sync confirms it. The "Verified" label on the domain shows it was verified via Spaceship sync rather than DNS.

What happens to domains already in my portfolio?

Sync skips them unless their registrar changed. If a portfolio domain was previously labeled Synced from: Dynadot and now lives at Spaceship, sync flips the label to Synced from: Spaceship. The original "Verified" status and any prices or notes you saved are kept exactly as they were.

What if I have a domain in my Spaceship account that's also in someone else's portfolio?

When sync verifies a domain for you, the previous "verified" owner in Euphyr loses their verified status on that same domain. This matches how DNS-TXT verification has always worked: ownership transfers move with proof, not with order of arrival.

Does sync analyze the new domains automatically?

Yes. Every new domain sync adds to your portfolio also kicks off the full Euphyr analysis — valuation, similar sales, trademark check, Wayback history, and so on. You'll see the results populate over the next two to three minutes per domain.

What if I have a very large portfolio?

Large Spaceship accounts sync in stages until every page has been processed. Existing domains are never duplicated.

When it doesn't work

  • "Sync was just run. Wait a minute and try again." — You synced within the last minute. Wait sixty seconds and click Sync again.
  • "Connect Spaceship first in Settings → Integrations." — Your Spaceship connection is missing. Click Connect on the Spaceship tile, paste your API key and secret, then try Sync again.
  • "Spaceship rejected those credentials." — Your saved API key or secret is no longer valid (you regenerated it, the key expired, or it was revoked). Click Disconnect on the Spaceship tile, then Connect again with a fresh key and secret.
  • "Spaceship rate limit hit." — Spaceship temporarily blocked the read. Wait one minute and click Sync again.
  • "Couldn't reach Spaceship." — Spaceship was unreachable or slow. Check your internet connection and try Sync again in a few seconds.
  • Sync says "0 added, 0 promoted" — Either every Spaceship domain is already in your portfolio and tagged with Synced from: Spaceship, or your Spaceship account is empty. Open your Spaceship dashboard to confirm what's there.
