Add your first domain

Updated 2026-07-25

What this does

Your watchlist holds domains you want to track. You can add one domain or a batch of up to 10 at once. New names appear immediately while Euphyr checks registration, sales, websites, trademarks, and valuation signals.

How to do it

You need to be logged in at app.euphyr.com.

  1. From the left sidebar on app.euphyr.com, click Watchlist.
  2. Click Add domain in the top right.
  3. In the Domains field, enter up to 10 domains, one per line. Commas and spaces also work. Pasting a full URL works — https://example.com/path is accepted just the same as example.com.
  4. Click Add domains.
  5. The dialog closes and the new domains appear in the watchlist. Status badges show when signals are being checked and when final analysis is running.

Common questions

What can I type in the Domain field?

Type or paste the full domain — example.com, cool.io, my-brand.shop, example.co.uk. URLs with https:// work too. You cannot enter just the name without an extension.

What happens if I enter a subdomain like blog.example.com?

blog.example.com is treated as example.com — Euphyr tracks the root, not the subdomain. Tracking individual subdomains as separate assets is not supported.

Does Euphyr handle extensions like .co.uk?

Yes. example.co.uk lands in your portfolio with the full .co.uk extension. The same goes for .com.au, .co.nz, and other multi-segment extensions.

Can I add the same domain twice?

No — Euphyr blocks duplicates per account. If you try to add example.com after it is already in your portfolio, you see the message "You've already added this domain to your portfolio." Open Portfolio on app.euphyr.com to find the existing entry.

Can I add many domains at once?

Yes. Paste up to 10 domains into the dialog, one per line. Euphyr removes duplicates inside the batch and tells you how many names were already present. CSV import for larger portfolios is still on the roadmap.

What does "Early estimate" mean?

Euphyr first shows an estimate from comparable sales. It is marked with a confidence level and an approximation symbol. The final estimate replaces it automatically when analysis finishes.

When it doesn't work

  • "That doesn't look like a domain. Try something like example.com." — The value you entered isn't a valid domain. Re-type it as name.extension, for example example.com. Avoid spaces, commas, and trailing punctuation.
  • "That domain extension isn't recognized. Use a real TLD like .com or .io." — The extension you typed is not a real top-level domain. Common valid extensions: .com, .io, .net, .shop, .co.uk, .com.au.
  • "You've already added this domain to your portfolio." — That root domain is already in your portfolio. Open Portfolio on app.euphyr.com to find the existing entry.
  • "Add up to 10 domains at a time." — Split a larger list into batches of 10.
  • "Too many actions. Slow down and try again in a minute." — Euphyr limits how many actions one account can take per minute. Wait a minute and click Add domains again.
  • "We couldn't save those domains. Try again." — Something went wrong on Euphyr's side. Refresh the Watchlist page and try once more. If it keeps failing, log out and back in at app.euphyr.com/login.
  • "Domain saved, but we couldn't start its analysis right now. We'll retry automatically — refresh in a few minutes to check." — Your domain is in your portfolio, but the background work that fetches the registration, trademark, and valuation data didn't start. Euphyr will retry on its own; refresh the Portfolio page in a few minutes and the rows will fill in. If they're still empty after 30 minutes, open the domain and use the Refresh button on the detail page, or contact support.
  • Dialog says "Adding..." and never closes — The save is taking longer than usual. Wait a few seconds. If it stays stuck, close the dialog with Cancel, refresh the page, and check whether the domain landed in your portfolio.
