Delete a domain

Updated 2026-07-20

What this does

Deleting a domain removes it from your portfolio. This action cannot be undone — the domain and all its information (pricing, notes, valuation history) will be permanently deleted from Euphyr.

How to do it

  1. Open the domain's detail page by clicking it from your portfolio.
  2. Select the Manage tab and disconnect the Euphyr lander if one is connected.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  4. Click the red Delete domain button.
  5. A confirmation dialog appears — read it carefully and click Delete again to confirm.
  6. The domain is removed from your portfolio.

Common questions

Can I undo a deletion?

No. Deleting a domain is permanent. Euphyr does not keep backups or a trash bin. If you accidentally delete a domain, you'll need to add it again and re-enter any custom data like selling price or notes.

Will deleting affect the actual domain I own?

No. Deleting from Euphyr only removes it from your portfolio here. Your actual domain registration with your registrar is not affected — you still own it and it will continue to renew normally. This is just about your Euphyr records.

Why would I delete a domain?

Common reasons: you sold it and want to clean up your portfolio, you no longer own it, or you want to remove duplicates or test entries.

When it doesn't work

  • Delete button is greyed out — Refresh the page and try again.
  • "Disconnect the Euphyr lander before deleting this domain." — Open the domain's Manage tab, disconnect its Euphyr lander, then delete the domain again.
  • Domain still appears after deletion — Refresh your portfolio. If it still shows, reload the entire page.
