Hide domains from your portfolio

What this does

Hiding a domain moves it out of your main portfolio list without deleting it. Use it for private names you keep for yourself — including domains that synced in automatically from a registrar — that you don't want mixed in with the ones you're actively managing. Hidden domains stay in your account on a separate "Hidden domains" page, and they never appear in public listings.

How to do it

To hide a domain, open Portfolio from the left sidebar, find the domain, and click its "⋯" actions button. Choose Hide. The "⋯" button is in the top-right corner of the domain card in card view, or at the end of the row in table view. The domain leaves your main list right away.

To see your hidden domains, click the Hidden domains button next to the "Portfolio" heading. It's always there, and shows a count when you have hidden domains. It opens the "Hidden domains" page where they all live.

To bring a domain back, open the "Hidden domains" page using the Hidden domains button, click the "⋯" actions button on the domain, and choose Unhide. It returns to your main portfolio list.

Common questions

Where do my hidden domains go?

They move to a separate "Hidden domains" page. Click the Hidden domains button next to the "Portfolio" heading to see them — that button is always there, and shows a count when you have hidden domains. Hidden domains stay in your account and still count as yours; they're just kept out of your main portfolio list, your dashboard totals, and public listings.

Will a hidden domain still show up for sale publicly?

No. A hidden domain never appears in public listings, even if its "Show in listings" setting was turned on. Hiding is the way to keep a private name out of both your main list and the public page.

How do I unhide a domain?

Open the "Hidden domains" page using the Hidden domains button next to the "Portfolio" heading. Click the "⋯" actions button on the domain card and choose Unhide. The domain returns to your main portfolio list.

Is hiding the same as deleting?

No. Hiding keeps the domain in your account and you can unhide it at any time. Deleting removes the domain from your portfolio permanently. If you want a name gone for good, use Delete instead.

When it doesn't work

• A hidden domain still shows in my main list — Refresh the page. The list updates as soon as you hide a domain, but a stale tab can lag.
• A hidden domain still appears in search — That's expected. Hidden domains show in global search (⌘K) under their own "Hidden" heading, separate from your portfolio results, so you can still find a private name. They never appear in your dashboard totals or public listings.
• "Too many actions. Slow down and try again in a minute." — You've hidden or unhidden domains very quickly in a short window. Wait a minute and try again.
