Set selling price

What this does

Selling price is the amount you want to ask for a domain. It stays private while the domain is not publicly listed on Euphyr and appears to visitors only after you explicitly list the domain for sale.

Selling price is separate from Euphyr's market estimate. Changing the price does not list the domain automatically.

How to do it

1. Open "Portfolio" and click the domain you want to price.
2. Open the "Manage" tab.
3. Click "Add selling price" in the panel on the right, or click the pencil icon beside an existing price.
4. Enter the price in USD.
5. Press Enter or click the checkmark to save.

The saved selling price remains private unless you list the domain publicly in the Euphyr row under "List for sale". Once the domain is publicly listed, the selling price appears at euphyr.com/listings and on your published public portfolio. Clearing the price changes a public listing to "Make an offer".

Common questions

Do I have to set a selling price?

No. Selling price is optional. A domain listed publicly on Euphyr without a selling price appears as "Make an offer".

Is my selling price visible to anyone?

Your selling price is private while the domain is not publicly listed on Euphyr. If you explicitly list the domain for sale, the price appears at euphyr.com/listings and on your published portfolio at euphyr.com/u/handle.

Does setting a selling price list my domain publicly?

No. Saving a selling price does not publish the domain. To make the domain and its price public, open the domain's "Manage" tab and click "List for sale" in the Euphyr row.

How is selling price different from the estimate?

The estimate is Euphyr's view of the domain's likely market value. Selling price is the amount you choose to ask. The two can differ based on your strategy, timing, or willingness to negotiate.

When it doesn't work

• "Enter a price between $0 and $99,999,999." — Enter a number within that range, then save again.
• The saved price does not appear publicly — Confirm that the domain is explicitly listed for sale in the Euphyr row of its "Manage" tab. A saved price remains private on an unlisted domain.
• The price appears publicly when you expected it to be private — Open the domain's "Manage" tab and turn off its Euphyr listing. Saving or clearing a selling price does not control whether the domain is public.
• The saved price is missing in Euphyr — Refresh the page and confirm that you are viewing the correct domain. Click "Add selling price" or the pencil icon to enter it again if needed.
